With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Hobbs of Columbus, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2025 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shead Hobbs II and Cornelia Hobbs of Madison; her son James J. Hobbs; and her brothers, Cubey Kelly Sr. and Allen L. Hobbs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura D. Hobbs and Earleace M. Hobbs; her close friend Artis Evans; her siblings, Earline Munobe, Leon Hobbs and Shead Hobbs III; and her grandsons, Aurin J. Hobbs and Xayvion-Tay M. Hobbs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousin, s and dear friends.
