We announce the death of Gloria Kahoun Turner (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 88. Gloria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Gloria will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Gloria will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Gloria’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mazel Kahoun and Frank Kahoun; and her husband Tom Turner. She is survived by: her children, Dave Turner (Sara), Mike Turner, Molly Balla (Greg), Carolyn "Katie" Turner, Judson "Jud" Turner and Spring Balla.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Schoedinger Northwest (1740 Zollinger Rd, Columbus, OH 43221). Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Gloria would probably prefer that you call an old friend, meet someone for coffee, or pay it forward at the Starbucks drive-through.
