He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sons, John Skillman and Godfrey Jr. (Lisa); his siblings, Richard Jr., Raymond, Matthew (Teresa), Eric (Fannie), Peggy, Velma, Wanda and Ronnie (Janice); his grandchildren, Dominiquea, Xaviare, JaQuale, Brianna, Eva and Shianne; his great grandchildren, Kaylynn, LaSchelle, Mariah, Myah, Kelsey, Christian and Brayden; and his close friend Brian Reed.
