He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Seymour and Della Seymour; his son Henry Edgar "Eddie" Ellis II; and his brother William Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Kim Ellis (Bub); his granddaughter Sara Hysell (Austin); and his great grandchildren, Emma and Sophia Hysell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
