He is survived by: his former wife Louise Marzett; his children, Gypsy Rosa Lee Townsend, Dorothy Townsend, Donald Townsend, Jerry Townsend (Darlene), Henry Townsend Jr. and Joseph (Sandra); his former wife Luckisha; his daughters, Lelia Townsend and Silvia Townsend; his grandson Keith Townsend; his great grandchild Brandon M. Tyler; and his cousins, Faye Pointer (Larry) and JoAnne Smith.
