He was predeceased by: his wife Jeneva Runyon; and his parents, John Frank Runyon and Pearl Elizabeth Runyon. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Fae Allen (Brandon) and Joseph Vance; his son-in-law Dennis Decker; his sister Julia Persons (Larry); his grandchildren, Jessica Podas, Angela Frazzini, Donovan Veeley, Drake Allen, Evelyn Allen, Joseph Vance, Christie Brown, Janet Caperna and Ben Vance; his children, Edith Decker, Cheryl Vance-Veeley and Pat Vance; and his siblings, Ethel Hackwork, Thelma Runyon, Barbara McKee, Curtis Runyon, John Runyon, Charles Runyon, Paul Runyon and Bill Runyon. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
