She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Silber and Ruth Silber. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Benis; her sons, David Benis (Laurie) and Joel Benis; her siblings, Meryl Palestrant and Robert Silber (Gail); her grandchildren, Dana Bowen (Joshua) and Jeremy Benis; her great grandchildren, Addy, Jamie and Laurel Bowen; and her nieces, Leah Palestrant (Jewel Butler) and Jamie Silber. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
