She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnew Delance Cleage and Grace Adele Cleage; her siblings, Agnew Cleage Jr. and Helen Davis; and her great grandchild Nickolas Cowans.
She is survived by: her sister Latonia Evans; her children, Leroy Calhoun, Shirleen Wilkinson (James), James Cox, Deborah Baker, Judith McCaskill (Bruce) and Freda Knapper; her nephew Dwayne Cox; and her cousin Yvonne Gaither.
She made several monetary donations to the United Negro College Fund and St. Jude Hospital.
