She is survived by: her children, John (Sekou) and Fatima (Dean); her siblings, Alberta (Tommy), Yvonne (Tyrone), Samuel, Darryl, Elmore and Gregory; her sister-in-law Kathleen; and her grandchildren, Teneshia, Taja, Chante, Destiny, Armonty, Johvonty, Simone, Jackie, Trichelle, Trishaya (Mohamed), Johnae (Emil), Mackenzie, Barry Jr., Dean, Sekou, John, Cyril and Kyron. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
