With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacqueline VanGelder of Columbus, Ohio, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward VanGelder; her parents, Roy Martin and Margaret Martin; her great-grandparents, Hazel and Hurley Carpenter; her sisters, Edna Snyder (John), Jean George (Wade), Betty Morrison (Gilbert) and Mary Prieto (Manuel); and her grandson Jordan Coen.
She is survived by: her sister Sharon Kelley; her children, Tammy Coen-Ramsey and Jay VanGelder (Jenni); her grandchildren, Parker VanGelder, Shelby VanGelder and Whitney Ramsey; and her great grandchildren, Ashton Ward and Eleanor Gower. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
