He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vernon Black and Phyllis Black (Spradling); his grandson Daniel David; and his great grandchild Leo Black. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Hedges; his children, Jimmy Black (Lori) of Powell, Rick Black (Diana) of Delaware, Mike Black (Cathrine) of Canton, Sean Leonard (Katie) of Delaware, Sally Boyce (Jason), Sarah Violes of Marysville and Megan Leonard of Hilliard; his brothers, Tom Black (Mary Kay) of Upper Arlington, Steve Black (Will) of Venice and Bill Black of Heath; and his cousin Mary Galentine (Buckeye Nissan). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
