He is survived by : his wife Pamela Highfill; his children, Sean Highfill and Tiffany Highfill (Keith Richie); his grandson Nolan Richie; and his brothers, Fabian Highfill (Kristy), Billy Hghfill and Clarence Highfill. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Jerry Spears Funeral Home (2693 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43204). A reception was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
