He is survived by: his wife Lisa Viol Hornback; his daughter Natalie Schroeder (Brice) of Worthington, Ohio; his siblings, Edward Hornback (Paula) of Dexter, Michigan, Marilyn Potvin Hornback of New Smyrna Beach and Peggy Schaeffer of Hilliard, Ohio; his mother-in-law Giovina Viol of Columbus, Ohio; his siblings-in-law, Jo Hornback of Waverly, Gina Williams of Columbus, Ohio and Louis Viol (Debra) of Brentwood, Tennessee.; and his pets, Gus, Millie and Hank Schroeder. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home (1177 W 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43212). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Timothy Catholic Church (1088 Thomas Ln, Columbus, OH 43220).
