He is survived by: his children, Yolanda Howard of Dayton, OH, Elonda Rizvi of Springfield, OH and Demetrius Carter of Springfield, OH.; his grandchildren, Marlon Howard, Corey Burks, Jr., Courtney Birden, Breanna Mays, Jordyn and Jazmyne Carter; his siblings, Sharon Lockhart of Springfield, OH, Patricia Smith of Columbus, OH, Lillian Johnson of Durham, NC, Robin Mickens of Columbus, OH, Leonard Newby (Melinda) of Florida and Cynthia Moore (Christopher) of Cleveland, OH; and his former wife Karen E. Howard (Blanche Carter). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
