It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Anthony Nooks of Columbus, Ohio, born in Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Nooks and Idella J. Nooks; his wife Debra K. Nooks; his sisters, Cassaundra Story and Patricia Nooks; and his son-in-law Shuan Evege.

He is survived by: his brother Jonathan Nooks; and his daughters, Angela Hogan (Brentt), Kisha Williams (Torie), Anita Lucas (David), Amy Evege (Shuan), Breauna Nooks and Gabrielle Nooks. He is also survived by several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
