He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Bauer and Mary Jean Hartings; his children, Douglas James, Jeffrey Alan and Deborah Sue; his children-in-law, Chris Schell and Angie Benham; his grandchildren, Jack, Nick, Joe Schell, Jake, Ben and Allie Uhlenhake; his sister Connie Chatterton (Chris); his brother-in-law Carl Bauer; Judy (late Doug), Eblen (Frank Leisner), Mary McMurray (Larry), Fred Culver and Brenda Kaiser (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends.
