John Haueisen wrote a sympathy message

“For us, Jim was the epitome of a Reanaissance man in contemporary times. His love for classical music and the arts, alongwith his knowledge of science and technology made him a fascinating conversationalist. In Worthington, the longtime home of Jim and Jordy, their hard work to preserve the appreciation for its history led to the establishment of the Worthington Historic District, which remains as a reminder of the heritage of the area. We will cherish fondly our memories of Jim.”
