Jane Callahan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Callahan (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jane Callahan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Holzapfel and Katie Holzapfel (Jane); her husband Michael (Mike Callahan); her parents-in-law, Frank and Mary Callahan; her siblings-in-law, Tom and Beth Callahan; her son-in-law Tony Albarano; and her nephew Andy Holzapfel.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Callahan, Matt, Suzi Callahan, Marc and Toni Callahan; her grandchildren, Erin, Ryan, Colin Chancey, Danny, Katlyn (Joe Schoettmer), Casey, Mike Callahan, Sydni (Jake Bruening), Joseph, Bridget and Ellie Callahan; her great grandchild Jane Taylor Schoettmer; and her siblings, Ruthie, John Fortkamp, Mary Allen, George and Ann Holzapfel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Egan - Ryan Northwest Chapel (4661 Kenny Rd, Columbus, OH 43220). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (20 E Dominion Blvd, Columbus, OH 43214).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in celebration of Jane to http://www.creatineinfo.org. to find a cure for CTD (Creatine Transporter Deficiency), in honor of her nephew Randy Allen's son Lucas.
