She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Harry Francis Jackson and Cynthia Caroline Jackson (Riddlebarger); and her husband David Luman. She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth-Ann Ellis (Brad), Mark Comer (Sue), Paul Comer and Johnnie Elder (Christopher); her grandsons, Brad Ellis Jr. and Joshua Ellis; and her great grandchild Nuova Harris. She is also survived by Her sister, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and "adopted" children.
