It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey D. Hunter (Columbus, Ohio), born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Jeffrey farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jeffrey is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius H. Hunter (Ether) and Phyllis Sanders (John); and his brother Gregory G. Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Pam Scott; his brother Julius H. Hunter (Saundra); his son Jeffrey Hunter (Amy); and his stepchildren, Matthew Scott (Emily) and Amanda Murawski (Christopher). He is also survived by six grandchildren, many nieces.
