He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Benis; and his parents, Sanford Benis and Sylvia Benis. He is survived by: his sons, David Benis (Laurie) and Joel Benis; his grandchildren, Dana Bowen and Jeremy Benis (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Jamie, Laurel Bowen and Roman Benis; and his nieces, Leah Palestrant (Jewel Butler) and Jamie Silber. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
