He was predeceased by: his parents, Shermand Scaggs and Kathlene Scaggs; and his son Jeffrey Scaggs. He is survived by: his wife Baretta Scaggs; his son Ronald Scaggs; his grandchildren, Emily and Justin Scaggs; and his siblings, Larry Scaggs (Nikki), Deborah Meade (Tom), Thomas Scaggs, Kathy Nance, Brenda Waters (Edward) and Linda Althizer (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
