With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jess Blaney (Columbus, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Blaney and Beulah Blaney; his sister Betty Jean; and his brother-in-law Keith Brown. He is survived by: his children, Joshua Blaney, Jessica Blaney, Jazmine Snyder (Melvin), Jeremiah Blaney (Jessyca) and Jade Blaney; his grandchildren, Joseph, Katelyn, Emma and Amelia; and his siblings, James Blaney (Sara), Bonnie Brown, Allen Blaney (Bonnie), Jerry Blaney (Tami), Brenda Collins, Robert Blaney, Roy Blaney and William Blaney (Missy Mayes). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jerry Spears Funeral Home (2693 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43204). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM.
