He is survived by: his wife Michelle Jones; his children, Lt. Cassandra Dougherty (Major Mark), Jesse Jones Jr. (Sheila), Regina Blakely, Ricky Jones and Sean McDowell (Menya); his grandchildren, Gavriel McDowell, Jediya McDowell, Sean McDowell Jr. and Nadia McDowell; and his siblings, Julius Jones, Melvin Jones, Valarie Jones, Laura Myers and Daniel Jones. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
