He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lee and Emma Tufts; his son Demetrius Tufts; and his siblings, Grady Tufts, Eddie Tufts, Dorothy "Dot" Tufts and Patricia Linzy.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Joyce Tufts; his children, Mark Tufts (Keitha), Keith Allen (Kimberly), Twyla Walton (Chris) and Khristian Jones; his siblings, Ronnie Remblert (Carol), Terrance Nevius, Mary Hairston (Mark) and Gloria Baines-Tufts (June); and his stepchildren, Trina Alexander and Sylvanious L. Roane Jr. (Kim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
