She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Jordan and Jimmie Hilson; her sister Lucille Jordan; her grandson Brandon Ferguson; and her husband Jerome Drake.
She is survived by: her children, Sonya Ferguson (Larry) and Demetrius Drake; her grandchildren, Tristan (Elvis), Sherea, Larry, Whitney, Lamar, Katrice and Brandi; and her siblings, Ruth Gallman, Charles Rogers (Anita), Myrtle Jordan and Allan Jordan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Jessie served as a member of Women's Life Chapter #813 and was on the Board of Directors of Wright's Way Foundation.
