He was predeceased by: his parents, Elige Sr. Cumberlander and Nina B. Cumberlander; his stepmother Kaynell Cumberlander; his siblings, Ethel Ware, Fred Armour, Elige Jr., Jack and Alonzo Cumberlander; and his grandson Kenneth Cumbie.
He is survived by: his children, Hope Cumberlander of Pringre Grove, IL, Anita Moustapha (Lamine), Jewell Hargrove (California) and Terry Cumberlander of Sleepy Hollow, IL; and his brothers, Dexter (Cleveland Heights), Lester Richmond, Cleveland and Slyvester Cumberlander of Rahway, NJ. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
