He was predeceased by: his son Jimmie Alan Davis Jr. Jimmie; his parents, Carl and Margaret; his sister Donna; and his stepson Scott.

He is survived by: his former spouse Maddline; his son Jeff Davis; his wife Maddine; his daughter-in-law Mary; his grandchildren, Sara Campbell and Jimmie Davis III; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Klara and Grayson. He is also survived by many cousins and relatives.
