He is survived by: his children, Lashunda, Kisha, Jimia, Demetrius, Jimmie Jr. and Josias; his sisters, Katie Mayers, Mary, Susie, Deborah, Dewonderous, Kat'tie, Cynthia and Tequila; his brothers-in-law, John and Clarence Byrd; and his close friends, Willie Brooks, William Fowlers and Troy Banks. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Peace - East (5456 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Eastlawn Cemetery - Far East (1340 Woodland Ave, Columbus, OH 43219).
