He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Kasson and Lenore O'Brien Carter; and his wife Martha (Lang). He is survived by: his daughter Nora (Calvert); his granddaughters, Isabel and Phoebe; and his cousin Sallie Carter Stone (Leigh). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
