John left this world on February 26, 2026 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Valente Guiseppe and Argia Ciardelli (Casa); his wife Juanita (Chadwick); his siblings, Mario, Valentino (Margaret), Santino, Carl (Betty), Norma Reeves (LeRoy), Jessie Hill, Dina Pallone (Dominic) and Alida Walters (Paul); his brother-in-law Bob Stevens; and his grandfather John.

He is survived by: his children, John Joseph Ciardelli, Jr., Toni Wickham (Jim), Mario Ciardelli (Marilyn), Richard Ciardelli and Joseph Ciardelli (Ann); and his grandchildren, Amy Brogan, Brandy Brogan, John Joseph Ciardelli III (Andrea), Todd Ciardelli (Valerie), Natalie Ciardelli, Richard Ciardelli II, Andrew Ciardelli (Erica), Anthony Ciardelli (Tabi), Chelsea Ciardelli (Ryan Abelman) and Samantha Ciardelli. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
