He was predeceased by: his parents, John Baker and Eddice Baker; his daughter Holley; and his granddaughter Isabella. He is survived by: his wife Holly (Kozel); his sons, JD (Wynona) of Newark, Josh (Rhoda) of Gratiot and Jason (Katherine) of Columbus; his stepchildren, Benjamin Wood (Ashley) and Amanda Wood of Reynoldsburg; and his grandchildren, Alex, Haylie, Kaedin, Kendall, William, Lily, Lacey, London and Jaylyn.
