He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eberst and Ruth Eberst; his brother Larry Eberst; and his stepdaughter Deanna Hartley. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Eberst; his children, J. V. Eberst (Sarah), Melinda Alumbaugh (David), Walt Eberst and Jeramy Eberst (Jessica); and his stepson Mark Hartley. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
