John H. Joyce Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John H. Joyce (Columbus, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John H. Joyce to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joyce and Sally Joyce (Carroll) of Riverlea; and his daughter Jane Erin Joyce (Sally). He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Matthews (Joyce); his son-in-law Michael Matthews; his granddaughters, Mia and Lauren Matthews; his sister-in-law Carol O'Leary; and his pet Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home (515 High St, Worthington, OH 43085). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (9571 N High St, Lewis Center, OH 43035).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Children's Hospital in memory of Jane Erin Joyce or to the Columbus Humane Society.
