He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Mosier and Greta Lambert Jackson; his significant other Damion Ferguson; his uncle Arthur Lambert; and his grandparents, Floyd McKenzie, Ethel Faye Jackson, George and Grace Lambert.
He is survived by: his sister Susan Bishop (Mark); his nephews, Nathan (Michelle), Lee (Stanislava) and Andrew Bishop (Catherine); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emmalene, Elias, Simon, Avery, Victoria, Astrid and Jonathan Bishop.
In lieu of flowers, Jay requested memorial contributions be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Hopewell Culture National Historical Park.
