John Kagel Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Kagel (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Kagel and Ruth Kagel. He is survived by: his wife Harriette Kagel; his daughters, Beth and Julie Kagel; and his siblings, Janet Ressler and Ron Kagel. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
