He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Ellen Leach; his parents, Charles E. Leach and Theresa L. Leach (Pursell); and his sister Margaret "Peggy" Powell. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Elizabeth Williams and Lauren Williams; and his children, Ellen Leach, Theresa Cavanagh (Christopher) and John J. Leach, Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
