It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Owen Steinbrook of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on March 29, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Steinbrook and Lorena Steinbrook; his children, Sharon Steinbrook, Barbara Steinbrook and Johnnie Owen Steinbrook Jr.; his granddaughters, Laura, Angel and Melissa; his sisters, June, Chris and Chloe; and the mother of his children Ruth Reid.
He is survived by: his children, Lorena Walters, Cheryl Steinbrook (John Hartley), Kathie Steinbrook (Jewel Price) and Forrest Steinbrook Sr.; and his siblings, Karen Palmer (Don), Tracy Steinbrook and Tom Steinbrook (Diana). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
