He is survived by: his parents, Susan Humphrey Athy (Rollison) and Richard John Athy; his siblings, Deborah Athy Guinan (Stephen), Lisa Susan Athy and Jaymes Anthony Athy; his siblings' children, Mary Catherine Winton (Moorhead), Audrey Leigh King (Moorhead), Anna Athy Moorhead, Claire Athy Guinan, Eliot Joseph Guinan and Aidan Jaymes Athy; his uncle Brian Stephen Athy; his aunt Carol Hawes (Athy); and his stepmother Margie Athy.
