He was predeceased by: his mother Bettie Joe Byrne; his brothers, Robert Byrne and Bradley Byrne; and his grandmother Vada Holbrook. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Thompson; his children, Christopher Holbrook (Angela Martinez) and Shannon Holbrook; and his grandchildren, Donivan Martinez, Alana Martinez, Zariyah Hamiter, Xavier Hamiter, A'niveah Hamiter and Saniya Hamiter.
