He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Ann Dick; his parents, Eileen and Earl; his daughter Julie; and his brothers, Earl and James.
He is survived by: his children, Laura, Jennifer and Kenneth James; his wife Linda Keener; his son Geoff Keener; his grandchildren, Travis, Emma, Taylor, Zach, Bailey, Nellie and Noah; his great grandchild Rowdy; and his sister Marilyn Davis of Grove City.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home (650 W Waterloo St, Canal Winchester, OH 43110). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Columbus Firefighter Union Hall (379 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215).
