It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth J. Rau Sr. of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on July 13, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Arno Rau and Caroline Josephine Rau (Barbara I.); his son Daniel Rau; and his brothers, Warren Rau and Marvin Rau.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Rau, Jr. of Columbus, OH, Cindy Snyder (Rick Catron) of Warrenton, MO and Thomas Rau (Anne) of Roundhead, OH; his brother Otto A. Rau, Jr. (Ruth) of Panama, IL; his sister-in-law Clara Rau of Elyria, OH; and his grandchildren, Melinda Middleton (Pat) of Warrenton, MO, Joseph Snyder (Erin) of Warrenton, MO, Christine Prochaska (Jason) of Hutchinson, MN, Susan Flieg (Nicholas) of Ste. Genevieve, MO, Kyle Rau (Jessica) of St. Paul, MN, Chelsea Brown (Logan) of Bellefontaine, OH and Cody Rau (Chantell) of Hutchinson, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
