He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Baker and Lizzie Baker; his wife Barbara Ann Baker; his parents-in-law, James and Lucille Campbell; his siblings, Delilah Guess, Linetta Williams, Linda Manns and Taylor Baker; his brothers-in-law, James Guess, James Manns and Kirk Campbell; his nephews, Terrance Smith and Andre Baker; and his close friend Leon Gould.
He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Baker; the mother of his child Pamela Baker; his children, Laura Baker, Brandie Cunningham (Avery) of Columbus, OH, Lisa Cuba of Flint, MI, Terran Hairston (Crystal) of Jacksonville and Terrell Hairston (Andrea) of Lakeland, Florida; his grandchildren, Amari, Amani and Avery Cunningham Jr. of Columbus, OH; his siblings, Richard Baker (Joanne) of Flint, MI, Kelvin Baker (Djarlene) of Humble, TX, Pearlie Allen of Farmington Hills, MI, Gloria Smith of Flint, MI and Julia Brown of Flint, MI; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Campbell (Wanda) of Cape Coral, FL, Bruce Campbell (Jeanean) of Cape Coral, FL and Gideon Williams of Flint, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Southeast Christian Church (4171 Lapeer Rd, Burton, MI 48509). Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Chapel (2340 W Carpenter Rd, Flint, MI 48505).
