He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Gant and Pearl Gant; his brother Emmett Gant; and his great grandchild Lauryn Moore (Kristina Gant). He is survived by: his children, Bryant J. Gant (Johansa), La'Traya B. Gant and Larry Joe Gant Jr.; his sisters, Barbara Austin (Rick) and Patricia Ingle; and his former wife Stephanie Gant (Sharon Allen). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
