He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland T. Runyon and Jancie Rose Runyon; his spouse Sytha Tomlinson; his grandson Jacob Hawkins; and his brother Richard Rayer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca McCoy (Tracy) of Blacklick and Laura Hawkins (Ryan) of Holly Springs, N. C.; his grandchildren, Isabel McCoy and YeRin Hawkins; his great grandchild Christian Hawkins; and his sister Kathy Smith (Bob) of Circleville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
