Wright Abbington; her siblings, James, William, Wilbur (Snook), Alphonso Abbington, Ophelia White, Evelyn Bagley, Aretha Horton, Elizabeth Roberson, Stella Richardson, Gladys Abbington and Jacqueline Abbington; her granddaughter SeRita Anthony Henry; and her great great grandchild Azalea Anthony.
She is survived by: her close friend Joe Lee Anthony; her former husband Joe Lee Anthony, Sr.; her husband Edward L. Cummings; her children, Joanna Mason (Vernon), Sharon Johnson (Aaron), Joe Anthony, Jr., Mark "Stevie" Anthony (Stevie), Lee Edwards and Cornelius "Nino" Cummings (Nino) of Columbus, OH; her sister Nancy J. Wade of Philadelphia, PA; her granddaughter Lena; and her children-in-law, Cheryl Dean, Vanessa Anthony, Bernice Cummings and Charles H. Parker, Sr.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Corinthian Baptist Church (3161 E 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43219). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church (3161 E 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43219). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Glen Rest Memorial (8029 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068).
