With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona A. Chapman of Columbus, Ohio, born in Sunflower, Mississippi, who passed away on August 8, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest P. Harrison and Hattie Harrison (Cochran); her siblings, Charles Harrison and Georgia Lou Harrison; and her granddaughter Heather Holloway.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donald Harrison and Oleta Snellgrove; her children, Sharon Propp, David Holloway (Bonnie) and Lewis Holloway (Paula); and her grandchildren, Jody Bowling, Julia Hall, Charles Bowling, Anthony Bowling (Shonda), Jaimie Wutzler (Michael), Polly Holloway and Jessica Holloway. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
