He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Leo Gore, Sr. and Mary Brown Gore; his wife Phyllis Greathouse-Gore; his siblings, Charles "Fritzy" Gore, Helen Gore and Mary Gore White; his daughter Sonnetta Sturkey; his granddaughter Alexandrya M. Farmer; and his brothers-in-law, Bishop Ronald Bell, Deacon Dennis Galloway and A. D. Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Leland Farmer (Jackie) and Meika Collier; his stepchildren, Antonio Greathouse (Erica), Stevie Fairfax (Yolanda), Ricky Fairfax, Tomika Greathouse and Melissa Austin (Jarrett); his siblings, Hiram Gore (Yvonne), Jean Galloway and Rosalie Gore Roberts; and his great grandchild Honor "Chops" Hughley. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
