He is survived by: his children, Lewis Dodley Jr. (Sooyeon), Mark Dodley (China) and Imani Olear (Eric); his wife Charlene; his children, Felicia (Charles), Lisette, Leland (Franchesca), Michael Jr. (Selena) and Tracy; his grandchildren, Joseph (Dashua), Devin (Ashley), Meghan (Jo), Brandi (Kevin), Miles, Kennedy, Hakeem (Erica), Maisha (Tim), Jaewon, Dominique, Amani, Aleah, Summer, Chloe (Nathan), Charles, Alonzo, Brianni, Nianna (Miles), Leila, Alyssa, Michael III (La'Tasha), Erica, Miahjuane (Robert), Eric, Sherita (Henry), Mike, Connashia and Trecia; his great grandchildren, Trinity, Leighton, Kaius, Kacen, Gemma, Alfonso, Zyana, Mila, Braylen, Carter and Chi; his brothers, Robert (Cathy) and Gilbert; Marcia and Joey.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service (1370 E Main St, Columbus, OH 43205). Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
