She was predeceased by: her parents, Hatzkel Itkin and Chaya Sora Itkin; and her brother Hiller Itkin. She is survived by: her sons, Alexander Levin (Galina) and Eugene Levin (Antonina); her sister Dora Tager; and her granddaughters, Olga (Pavel), Marina (Igor), Julia (Levi) and Michelle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Leya's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
